At EVCI Global, we inspect and certify EV chargers to ensure the kilowatt-hours shown on your receipt match exactly what’s delivered to your vehicle.

Our journey began with a challenge presented to us by the NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland) – the body responsible for legal metrology and weights and measures within the Irish government.
They approached us with a critical question:
Can you help assess whether the kilowatt-hours recorded and billed to EV drivers truly match the energy that is being delivered to their vehicles?
This was not just a technical problem – it was a matter of fairness, transparency, and consumer trust. Accurate measurement of electricity at public EV charge points is essential. Drivers deserve to know that what they are paying for is exactly what they are receiving.
We came together as a team of specialists in energy metrology, EV charging, and field testing to solve this issue. By combining our expertise with state-of-the-art reference equipment, we are able to measure the performance of public chargers in real-world conditions. This allows us to identify discrepancies, certify accuracy, and ultimately ensure that both consumers and operators can rely on a system built on trust and accountability.
Our Vision
Every EV driver can charge with absolute trust in billing accuracy.
Our Mission
Our mission is to ensure every kilowatt-hour billed is every kilowatt-hour delivered. By independently inspecting and verifying EV chargers, we guarantee precision, strengthen consumer confidence, and prepare operators for a future of regulated billing accuracy – building trust that brings drivers back tomorrow.
